Recent Collaborative Projects

“Mister Dowland’s Midnight: The Art Of Melancholy”

A collaboration with Vancouver Jewelers: Patsy Kay Kolesar, Su Foster, and Simone Richmond.  The three jewelers used the music of John Dowland and his contemporaries to inspire the creation of a necklace that embodied the spirit of Elizabethan design and melancholy.  This project debuted at Visual Space Gallery in Vancouver, BC.  Click here to see images of the final product.

“The Winter Of Our Discontent”

A collaboration with Finnish Guitarist, Otto Tolonen.  This project explored combining Elizabethan lute song, with the guitar solos of Hans Werner Henze, and excerpts from Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Richard III, Romeo and Juliet to shed new light on famous theatrical characters.
